| Elijah is 5 1/2 Who can understand the workings of the mind of a five year old? Well, I guess I should be able to by now! I don't know who, but someone mentioned several weeks before that Elijah would be "five and a half" soon. OH boy! That got my little one's mind to whirling! He began to plan all of the things he would do on his Five And A Half Birthday! He was so sweet about it that we decided to go with it! So, after breakfast Elijah wanted to go to Wendy's for lunch. As usual, we were the object of much attention -- all of it good ;) After lunch Elijah wanted to go to the video store and rent a Chip' n Dale cartoon. We must have rented it a long time ago but he remembers it and had it in his mind that that is what he wanted to do for this Special Day. Not surprisingly it wasn't there... but that' s okay. He was very happy to pick out some other movies :). He was so sweet. When we were getting ready to leave he asked me if I would wear my hair in a ponytail with "that pink scarf tied on". What a funny thing for him to request... I hardly ever wear my hair that way but I guess he likes it like that! Happy 5 1/2 Birthday my sweet boy!
